The name Munnar is believed to mean "three rivers", referring to its location at the confluence of the Mudhirapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundali rivers. the din and the pleasant sight of emerald - green plantations will restore your eyes with amazing beauty. in Munnar you get the tea plantations on lustrous rolling hills, Munnar is a picturesque piece of land. Munnar is also known as the High Range of Travancore, and serves as the commercial estate of some of the highest tea-growing estates in the world. The temperature ranges between 5 °C (41 °F) and 25 °C (77 °F) in winter and 15 °C (59 °F) and 25 °C (77 °F) in summer. Temperatures as low as −4 °C (25 °F) have been recorded in the Sevenmallay region of Munnar. Munnar is situated at around 1,600 metres (5,200 ft) above mean sea level, in the Western Ghats mountain range. Munnar is also called the "Kashmir of South India" and is a popular honeymoon destination.

Pickup from Cochin Airport or Ernakulam Railway Station, and you will be transferred to Munnar by surface. A 4 hour drive to Munnar through hill station. On the way visit Spice Plantations, Valara Falls, Cheeyappara Falls. Kallar Falls, 2 Nd mile view point Blossom Park , Arrival at a place which is called Heaven on Greenearth Munnar Check in at Hotel. Munnar.

Morning ,Visit Rajamalai (Eravikulam) National Park famous for Nilgiri Tahr(Wild goat), Anaimudi Peak South India Highest Peak, Proceed to Cochin. Bid farewell to this serene land as your holidays comes to an end as you get transferred to Cochin Airport or Ernakulam Railway Station for your onward journey back to home.
